The European Commission has selected UNICEPTA as its new partner for media monitoring services.
“Only those who listen are able to make fact-based decisions quickly and competently, and this is precisely how we support our clients from industry and politics. With our services, we will be helping the European Commission to continuously keep track of current issues and relevant debates in politics, business, and society. We are very pleased to have won this account and to have gained the European Commission’s confidence in the quality of our work,” says Jochen Freese, CEO of the UNICEPTA Group.
UNICEPTA’s comprehensive media monitoring solutions for the European Commission will cover all 27 EU Member States as well as key non-EU countries. To this end, the media intelligence company is setting up an international newsroom team with experts and analysts to detect international coverage in online and offline sources, as well as identify trends in social media and provide them in digital briefing and news formats.
“Our innovative technology provides a strong foundation to capture the ever-increasing global flow of news and information, but human judgment is just as important to identify and prioritize the relevance and urgency of issues and trends for the European Commission as quickly as possible. This combination enables us to generate insights with both speed and precision,” Freese concludes.
